Walking Like Monkeys

Oh dear me, Mr Griffin seems to have been caught out yet again by YouTube.

On Question Time, Mr Griffin claimed that it was an outrageous bit of anti-BNP spite that he'd said that black men 'walk like monkeys'...

If only it has been around earlier - imagine what we'd be able to watch again and again

  1. I think he may have been referring to the swagger that a lot of, but not all, black men effect when walking. Lots of white men who want to be black men (I believe these types are referred to, for some reason, as "wiggers") walk in the same way. With a lop-sided swagger.

To say that they walk like, or in any other way resemble monkeys is really, really awful.

  2. Perhaps he meant 'walk like Monkees'...

Are we talking a ghetto limp stylee or a Liam Galhaglher walking-on-outsides-of-feet type affliction? That's more a chimp walk.

I cannot fathom either. I've seen primates do the latter not the former though. It's a really odd gait, lots of movement but not really getting anywhere fast. Heterosexual mincing. Could it be the shoes - the type of chap I see waddling along like a low brow pop idle often wear them Adidas Samba sort of trainers that don't look like they offer much support.

Of course this is precisely what Nick meant. He is absolutely merely concerned that West Indians don't wear the right kind of shoes and may be doing long term damage to their feet and legs by not getting their feet measured at Clarks.(I love that machine. Every Bond villain should have one.) Shoes are very important. You're either on your feet or in bed. Unless you're sat on your arse with your feet up.

  3. Apparently if you listen to the whole clip in context Griffin is recounting a story about a conversation with a Nigerian. The "walking like monkeys" comment was originally said by the Nigerian.
